Pets, Produce, and People

Meet the newest member of our family, Sumi. She walked right into our house from the forest and made herself at home.
In a few days, she learned her name, learned the house rules, made friends with the dog, and won our hearts.
Her name, "Sumi" is Japanese black ink.

We said goodbye to Tigger. The best cat ever. He passed away quietly under an aloe plant.
At 10 years old, Django is still happy for a 5-mile hike to the Green Sand Beach. His ear is blowing in the wind!

My sister Susan meets a Jackson's chameleon.
Our neighbors brought over Aries, their pet lamb, for a visit. Aries likes ti leaves, but turned up her nose at the fresh garden lettuce I offered. I'm an Aries too, so we bonded.

Dinner at the Strawberry Patch is getting to be a good habit.

Two artists - Mark and Pari.
On Christmas Day we had a wonderful visit from the family who built our house in 1985. We enjoy the bananas, starfruit, and avocados that Pari planted 30 years ago.
